TFBD May-June 2010 Series: Class 6 Notes

Our final class of this series... It's always a tough one because while we're learning a few new combinations, we're trying to remember everything we've learned the past 5 weeks. Some things get easier, but how quickly we forget even the combos we learned the week before!

Here are the new movements for class 6:

1. Staircase combination - position body to face left corner. Head slide right, center. Chest lift up, down. Pelvic lock front, back. Undulation from down to up. Head slide left, center. Chest lift up, down. Pelvic lock front, back. Interior hip circle (omi) starting front going clockwise.

2. Alternating hip squares + undulation - Hip front (1), right (+), back (2), left (+), front (3), left (+), back (4), right (+), front (5), right (+), back (6), left (+). Low ab contraction to roll up on counts 7,8. Repeat!

3. Downs + turn - Walking forward: step right foot with left hip up, then step left foot with right hip up; for 6 counts. Half turn on counts 7,8. Walking to the back for 6 counts. Half turn to face front on counts 7,8.

One full turn, then final pose.
