Bellydance Basics Class 3 Notes

Another jam-packed class! Here's a list of the movements we covered in this third class of the 7-week series:

Here are the new combinations we covered:
1. Alternating Hip Squares -
Hips start pelvic lock front, hip up right, pelvic lock back, hip up left.
Hip pelvic lock front, hip up left, pelvic lock back, hip up right.
Repeat!

2. Figure 8s DU (slow, slow quick, quick, slow):
Figure 8s DU R (2 cts), L (2 cts)
Figure 8s DU R (1 ct), L (1 ct)
Figure 8s DU R (2 cts)
Figure 8s DU L (2 cts), R (2 cts)

3. Twist - Chest - Shoulder Combo:

4. Exterior Hip Circle and Half Circle:
Hips are Left Front Right Back; Feet are Right Left.
Then hips are Left Front Right; Feet are Right touch Left.
Hips go Right Front Left Back; Feet are with Left Right.
Then hips are Right Front Left; Feet are L touch Right.
