Mixed-Level Bellydance Class 1 Notes

Hello Dancers!

Thank you for joining in our first of 8 classes together. This is a mixed-level class with dancers ranging from brand new to bellydance all the way to YEARS of experience. So, hopefully I will be able to offer something for everyone!

Here is a high-level, brief recap of major items covered in class:
1. Warm-up and conditioning
2. Posture
3. Technique:
- hip singles
- hip singles with tendu-style exercises
- hip slides
- ribcage slides
- figure 8 down-to-up
- figure 8 down-to-up while walking step-touch

- Torso Rotation (American Tribal Style vocabulary)
- Camel Walk (American Tribal Style vocabulary)
